Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

Abominations, Part One

A letter from Brother Gary Savelli

Good evening John.

After reading your recent TFE’s on The Abomination of Desolation, I looked up “abomination”, “abominations”, “abominable”, etc., to see what is abominable to God, aside from the verses on “the abomination of desolation”. I thought there might be a dozen or so. Wow! I was surprised that “abomination” was spoken about so much. For anyone interested in the biblical references to “abomination”, here are most of them. I stuck to the things that were abominable to God.

To me, the important lesson in the Bible study is simply that we don’t want to do “abominations” or be among those who are abominable. We need the Spirit to make us NOT be that way and to enable us to follow the way that leads to a place where there will be NO abomination, forever.
