Young people are pressured by the powerful influence of movies, television, and the internet to choose a mate on the basis of physical attraction rather than being led by the Spirit in those matters. The results are tragic. There has never been a higher divorce rate, and infidelity is commonplace.
Paul’s desire for young people was that they would trust and obey God in the most important issues of their lives. Following after the Spirit is the only right way to make the right choices for your life. God’s ways are right, and if we want to attain to what is best for us, we walk in them.
