These verses show that at the end of time when the devil is exposed it will amaze those who were deceived by him at what a puny, sniveling, cowardly being he is. Don’t wait until then to believe the truth about the devil and his ways. Don’t wait until the end to look up from hell and see what a fool you have been.
Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (Jn. 8:32). But the fact is that knowing the truth is just a matter of time for everybody. Everyone at some point is going to know the truth. Everyone is going to see and to admit that Jesus is Lord (Phil. 2:9-11). The only real issue is when are you going to discover the truth. Now, while it can set you free? Or later, when it will explain to you why you will never be free from torment?
Satan has invented a religion and named it after Christ and with it he has deceived the whole world. But it is as worthless as he is to save anybody. Christianity is a lie because its father is the father of lies. Christian communion is worthless to your soul because Satan, its originator, is worthless to your soul. Christian baptism is worthless to your soul because Satan, its originator, is worthless to your soul. Christian holy days are worthless to your soul because Satan, its originator, is worthless to your soul. Are you going to follow after these godless things and be amazed at the worthlessness of your leader at the end? Or will you believe the truth about Satan and his works now and be made free?
