Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.  Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.  For we have no continuing city here, but we seek one to come.

Prayer Meeting Notes from Rebekah, Part Four:
You Are Your Own Reaping

“About four years ago, I put a piece of notebook paper in my Bible on which to write down things said during the meetings that really stood out to me.”
Rebekah Joy

“We’re a product of our choices in the past.”

Paul warned us that God is not mocked. We always reap what we sow. Because God is God, we all reap what we sow. Our “sowing” is the choices we make along the way, and our “reaping” is the results that God brings about because of those choices. For adults, we are who we are, for good or bad, because of choices we have made. We live where we live and we have the job we have because of choices we have made. Who we are is our reaping, as the choices we made was our own sowing.

Pray before making any significant choices. Jesus is there to help those who ask, so that when they reap what they sow, they will be glad.
